Certified Visa Translation has been incredibly helpful in the process of getting my long distance partners documents translated. We were completely unaware when applying for the visa that documents would need to be translated so you can only imagine how horrified we were when being quoted almost £500 for 7 pages ontop of the almost £200 we’d paid for the visa! Certified Visa Translation came to the rescue! I was sceptical at first because how on earth could this be 5x cheaper than anywhere else? Does UKVI accept certified translations?
Yes. UKVI accepts certified translations that include a statement of accuracy, the translator's credentials and contact details, and the date of translation. Every translation we deliver is fully UKVI-certified and meets the published Home Office requirements.
Do I need a notarised translation for a UK visa?
No. Notarisation is not required for standard UK visa applications. UKVI requires a certified translation with a statement of accuracy, which is included with every order — no extra notary step needed. If another authority asks for it, digital notarisation, apostille and embassy legalisation are available on request.
How much does a certified translation cost in the UK?
Certified translations for UK visa applications cost £17.99 per page with standard 24-hour delivery, or £29.99 per page for rush 8-hour delivery. The price includes a signed statement of accuracy, translator credentials, our certification stamp on every page, and digital delivery by email. No hidden fees.
How long does a certified translation take?
Standard certified translations are delivered within 24 business hours (Monday to Friday). If you need it sooner, our rush service delivers in 8 hours — including weekends. Larger multi-page or highly technical documents may take 2–3 business days; we will confirm the exact timing at quote.
What documents need to be translated for a UK visa?
UKVI requires certified translations of all non-English documents submitted with your application. Common examples include birth certificates, marriage certificates, divorce decrees, bank statements, degree certificates and academic transcripts, employment letters, police clearance certificates, and medical records.
Will my translation be accepted by Home Office?
Yes. Our certified translations meet the requirements of UKVI, Home Office, HMCTS courts and tribunals, UK universities, and registry offices. Every page carries our certification stamp, the translator's signature, full contact details, and a signed statement of accuracy — all the elements United Kingdom authorities check for.
Is my data safe?

What happens if my certified translation is rejected?
