  • £48 per page, all inclusive
  • Delivered within two working days
  • Sworn translator’s official stamp and signature

Spanish official bodies require a traducción jurada — a translation by a Traductor-Intérprete Jurado appointed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MAEC), who certifies it as a faithful and complete translation of the original and seals it with their official stamp and signature (Orden AEC/2125/2014). We produce exactly that, through sworn translators on our roster, for £48 per page all inclusive. Spanish sworn translators are appointed for a specific source language, so tell us the language of your document when you upload it and we will confirm before you pay. Personal names are kept exactly as they appear in your passport, and institutions with no Spanish equivalent are given in the original with a Spanish explanation where it helps.

FAQ

Questions about this service

What is a traducción jurada?

It is a translation certified by a Traductor-Intérprete Jurado appointed by Spain’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs after a national examination. The translator certifies the translation as faithful and complete, and applies the official stamp issued by the ministry. In Spain this carries the same legal force as the original document.

How much does a Spanish sworn translation cost?

A flat £48 per page, all inclusive — translation, the sworn translator’s certification, digital signing and email delivery. Nothing is added at checkout.

How long does it take?

Up to two working days. A sworn translator reviews and signs the document, so this service is not available on our 24-hour or 8-hour turnarounds.

Does the source language matter?

Yes. Spanish sworn translators are appointed for a specific source language, so we match your document to a translator sworn for that language. Tell us the language when you upload and we will confirm it before you pay.

Will the Spanish authority accept it if the translator is outside Spain?

What the authority checks is that the translation carries the certification and official stamp of a sworn translator appointed by the MAEC. That appointment is what matters, not where the translator is sitting. If an office has given you written instructions, send them with your order and we will follow them.

Do I need an apostille as well?

Possibly. An apostille authenticates the original document rather than the translation. If the Spanish authority asks for one, obtain the apostille first and upload the apostilled document so the sworn translation covers it.
